>>Bridgman wants Snetterton triple| 10 May 2007
Tim Bridgman will race at the third Formula Palmer Audi meeting of the season at Snetterton this weekend targeting a trio of victories to continue his title charge.

Bridgman, 21, a former Formula BMW UK Champion, came into FPA on the eve of the season, and after struggling at the opening rounds at Silverstone, scored three podiums at Brands Hatch, including his first win of 2007, to move into third place in the championship. "It was good to get my first win on the board at Brands as Silverstone was a difficult weekend for me, but I still feel I should have won two or even all three races."

With Bridgman having won in both his previous races at Snetterton, he carries the highest expectations ahead of the triple-header at the Norfolk circuit. "Snetterton has always been a good track for me, so this weekend should be a great chance to assert myself over the rest of the field."

Currently trailing Luciano Bacheta by 29 points and Stefan Wilson by 11, Bridgman expects the teenage pair to challenge once again this weekend, but says that the FPA field as a whole will again prove competitive. "Wilson and Bacheta obviously have previous experience from the Autumn Trophy last year, so they should be strong, but there's going to be a fair few others in the mix for the podium places as well."

With previous experience in both British Formula 3 and ChampCar Atlantic, Tim also feels he is well-equipped to fight it out on track. "It does make a little bit of difference, but I went through the same learning process when I started out and I know that the others can be a threat."
