Tim Bridgman reduced his quickest lap time by almost half a second between the two practice sessions at Monza. He eventually finished the day with the 8th and 7th fastest times of the twenty-nine drivers that are making an appearance in the second continental race weekend of the British F3 series.

Bridgman was happy with the improvement in his time. “It takes about 10 laps to become familiar with a circuit, and I think the difference in the two testing sessions reflect that,” said Bridgman on Friday afternoon. He is now turning his attention to the fuller-than-usual Saturday, which sees round 13 and 14 qualifying sessions and races scheduled to run all in the same day. “Going out on to the track four times in the day facilitates maintaining focus over the course of the day and I feel we can make further gains,” said Bridgman.

A few laps on a quad bike on Thursday allowed Bridgman to take in the circuit scenery, and he said the setting lived up to expectations. “You can see the ruins of old houses in the background, it is really quite unique,” he said, adding that he was enjoying the experience of driving at a one of the best racing circuits in the world.
